DWI arrests aided by new sensor flashlights in Rio Rancho
Rio Rancho police received eight hashlights from Sandoval County DWT Program to aid drunk driving enforcement. The devices record audio and video, store to USB and DVD, and cost about 1300 dollars each. Officers say footage strengthens cases beyond standard police reports and helps show a driver’s demeanor.
