ANB Starts Sunwest Brokerage Service in Albuquerque
Albuquerque National Bank announces Sunwest Brokerage Services a discount brokerage operating from its main office in downtown Albuquerque begin May 2. The service targets Albuquerque and New Mexico investors with up to 65 percent commission savings and offers telephone trading linked to checking accounts. Norman Betts will manage Sunwest, and it will roll out to First New Mexico Bankshare subsidiaries with Sunwest Bank name changes ongoing.

ERA raises funds for muscular dystrophy drive in Albuquerque
ERA associates of Albuquerque report success of the Day in May fund raiser. Door-to-door drive on the first Sunday in May collected over $2600 for Jerry's Kids. ERA Kachina Realty led all offices in city totals for the third straight year to aid MDA programs including research patient services and summer camps.
