Rio Rancho Police say a 24 year old man remains in stable condition in intensive care after a December 18 shooting in his Oakmount Drive home during a domestic dispute with his father. Police await medical prognosis before deciding on charges.
Rio Rancho Police pass the Double R Realty embezzlement investigation to the New Mexico Attorney General's Office for completion. The case involves suspicions an employee stole hundreds of thousands from individuals, businesses, and homeowner associations as Double R Realty operated in Rio Rancho since its early days. Police warn the review will take time due to extensive evidence. ReadWest in Rio Rancho seeks volunteers for adult literacy tutoring with trainings in January and orientations for Cyndy Rath.
Rio Rancho Municipal Court will run Monday through Thursday amnesty for outstanding warrants. Those turning themselves in avoid arrest and pay no $100 contempt fee.
