Police substation opens on Albuquerque Westside campus
The Albuquerque Police Department opened its first substation dubbed a preliminary Westside Precinct. A 20-man volunteer force will operate from the University of Albuquerque to test new policing methods aimed at burglaries robberies and larcenies. Lt. Robert G. Baca will head the project with four sergeants.
