Heroes save senior citizen in Rio Rancho incident
City Engineer Rick Devine and contractor Glen Benedett said they acted instinctively when they saw a 78-year-old woman unconscious behind the wheel of a slowly moving car at Sorthern Boulevard and Sara Road. Devine jumped into the driver's seat to brake, Benedett phoned for help, and the ambulance arrived quickly. The woman was treated at St Joseph's West Mesa Hospital for a seizure and is expected to recover.
