Sandoval County updates online property tax payment fees
The Sandoval County Treasurer introduces a reduced fee schedule for online, phone, or in person tax payments by credit card debit card or electronic check. Methods accept Visa MasterCard American Express Discover and bank accounts with receipt or email confirmation available. A confirmation number is issued after each payment. Credit card fee is 2.37 percent while debit card fee is 3.75 per transaction and checking account transfer fee is 1.25 per transaction, down from prior years.

CNM Bond Passes by Wide Margin Across Voters
Albuquerque Journal and Observer report CNM’s 84 million general obligation bond failed to pass in Rio Rancho but carried statewide. Love-on-the-lam couple face court date in escape case
Jennifer Jean Arthur, 30, and Tyler Steven Allison, 25, fled Major County Jail in Fairview Oklahoma on January 11 triggering a two day pursuit through Rio Rancho and Sandoval County. Authorities say speeds topped 95 mph with oncoming traffic to dodge capture before their arrest January 13 near Zia Pueblo. Arthur claimed she did not know Allison was a fugitive.
