Food pantries rally with large donations this holiday
Storehouse West fell from 30 000 to 22 000 pounds in November, but Rio Rancho groups stepped in. St Felix Pantry and Rio Rancho Police Department hosted a food drive, splitting proceeds between Storehouse West and St Felix. An inventory by Sister Edna Esquibel triggered a surplus share with the other pantry. The City of Rio Rancho Winterfest 2012 at Santa Ana Star Center includes non perishable food and new toys for Storehouse West and Community Clothes Closet.
