Holiday concert at Rio Rancho High School
Rio Rancho High School and Eagle Ridge Middle School present a holiday concert directed by Becky Talbott and Janice Needham. Kristine Lyman and Eleanor McKinnon will be the accompanists. The 7 p.m. event at RRHS Performing Arts Center invites free admission with a donation of non-perishable food for St. Felix Pantry.

Jimi Hendrix Life Highlighted In Library Presentation
Peter Chase, noted music historian, returns to Esther Bone Memorial Library for a 6:30 p.m. multimedia program on Jimi Hendrix. Despite limited mainstream exposure, Hendrix is regarded as the greatest electric guitarist in pop music history and a major 20th century influence. Chase has previously led Bone Library histories on the Beatles, Dylan, Woodstock, and the Kinks, and will present a lecture plus music and video clips.
