Rio Rancho Rams tackle Ram Hill boot camp before opener
Rio Rancho High School football players endured a 92 degree hill workout led by head coach David Howes. About 150 athletes carried 2x4 boards, engaged in four eight minute military drills, and finished with a tug of war before their season opener with Mayfield in Las Cruces. Family, cheerleaders, and supporters watched as the Rams prepared to burn the boards symbolizing their weaknesses.
