Cindy Wade drives and guides Rio Rancho school bus riders
The Rio Rancho based Helweg and Farmer driver Cindy Wade has logged since 1975, guiding about 120 children daily across APS and Jemez districts. She describes morning calm, afternoon rowdiness, and the challenge of managing kindergarteners, middle schoolers, and high schoolers while building trust with her students. Wade recalls her own bus-driven youth, now mentoring a new generation.
