PUC suspends Rio Rancho utility rate hikes nine months
The New Mexico Public Utility Commission suspended Rio Rancho Utilities water and sewer rate increases for at least nine months to allow evaluation. If approved as requested, monthly residential water bills would rise about six dollars and sewer about seven. The city may seek to acquire the utility.
