Corrales Adopts Quiet Village Noise Ordinance
Corrales Village Council approved an anti noise ordinance after debate over exemptions for livestock and fowl and added provisions to ban loud or disruptive noises. It cites amplifiers horns and sirens, with fines up to 300 dollars and 90 days in jail. construction noise and agricultural work are exempt during day hours. The meeting also approved a home telephone for Officer Trujillo to answer calls off duty and distributing emergency phone stickers.
