Star Lab Planetarium arrival at Loma Colorado Main Library
August Judy Stanley will bring the Star Lab Planetarium to Loma Colorado Main Library from 9 a.m. to noon with 20 minute shows requiring free tickets. The event, postponed from June 20, is funded by the Friends of the Library of Rio Rancho. A second library sale runs 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, sponsored by Friends of the Library of Rio Rancho, featuring paperbacks, hardbacks, puzzles, and more. Other events include Tijerina at Prairie Star Wine Bar Patio from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., Spa from 6 to 9 p.m., and David & Uprising at Santa Ana Star Casino from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. The Marketplace hosts a farmers market on weekends with food, crafts, and live music on the Phil Mead Stage from 11:30 to 1 p.m. with no entry or parking charges.
