Beloved Kasey Passes Away in Rio Rancho
Rio Rancho observes the death of Kasey the Golden Retriever on April 15 as owner Dean Alexander notes. A founder of the nationwide Kasey Says program, the dog visited schools to curb bullying and boost reading, but began limping after an April 1 presentation before succumbing to terminal cancer two weeks later. Alexander vows the program will continue with Lacey and others.
