County OKs indigent fund and flood control tax measures
Sandoval County commissioners approved an indigent hospital fund ordinance funded by an one-eighth cent gross receipts tax expected to raise about $25 000 annually starting January 1 1990 The plan creates an indigent review board to determine eligibility and may include clinics to reduce hospital ER costs The measure accompanies a 14 mill flood control tax for Montoyas Arroyo property to fund dikes dams and embankments near Rio Rancho and Corrales for flood prevention
