Rio Rancho considers final vote on zoning ordinance changes
Rio Rancho Governing Body holds the second and final vote at 6 30 p m Wednesday in City Hall on a proposed zoning ordinance. Sponsor Councilor Chuck Wilkins led changes with staff developers and builders. The ordinance loosens restrictions permits lower to higher zoning uses and adds detached accessory dwellings with kitchens up to 900 square feet or half the primary house size on large lots.

Sandoval County officials heard a mixed report on House Bill 641 as the session ends.
