Abraham Montafio and his grandfather Fred Reade launch Ice Cream Palace and Hot Dog World at 2003 Southern Blvd Suite 118 Rio Rancho offering ice cream Italian ice and hot dogs. The soft opening drew strong attendance as Montafio aims to create a family friendly space for a quick joyful escape.

Rio Rancho home show features remodeling and greyhound adoptions

Kitchen remodeling to outdoor living and pest control showcased at a Rio Rancho event. Organizations such as the New Mexico Greyhound Connection offered many hounds for adoption. Free admission for arrivals before 1 a.m. both days, general admission after the first hour was five dollars. Pravato noted solid start though attendance didn’t surpass prior shows, with the 2000 debut drawing 9,000 as the economy improved prospects for customers. The event was praised as the best in Rio Rancho for quality.

Rio Rancho schools set full day kindergarten registration schedule

Rio Rancho elementary schools announce full day kindergarten. Parents may register for half days by coordinating with the school. Orientation and registration dates vary by campus from April 15 through May 6, with times listed for Ciclo Azul, Colinas del Norte, Enchanted Hills, Ernest Stapleton, Maggie Cordova, Martin Luther King Jr., Puesta del Sol, Rio Rancho, Sandia Vista, and Vista Grande. If unavailable, parents can register during regular office hours after the period ends.

Hanger Clinic marked its Rio Rancho debut with a ribbon cutting at 1904 Wellspring Ave across from Presbyterian East Medical Center. The third metro location offers prosthetic limbs and orthotic braces for all ages, with 24 hour on call support and a free evaluation.
