Sandoval County plans bond sale to fund libraries and EMS gear
County commissioners will vote on a 5.25 million general obligation bond sale approved by voters in November. Of the funds, 3.25 million goes to the county’s 14 libraries and 2 million funds emergency communication equipment. The consent agenda includes senior program budget boosts totaling 20,500 and 15,972 for senior support. Also on agenda are disposal of failed tech gear and two land donations. A separate resolution seeks 35,000 from the state for juvenile adjudication in FY 2015-16. Meeting at 6 p.m. in Bernalillo at 1500 Idalia Road, Building D.

Corrales man charged with voter fraud in last fall election
A Corrales man, 68 year old Eugene W. Victor, is charged with false voting a fourth degree felony after admitting to voting in Rio Rancho and Corrales senior centers under his name and his son’s name to protest identification rules.
