Planning Institute study aids hospital coordination in central Ohio
Representatives from Magnetic Springs Rehabilitation Hospital attended a full day planning institute in Columbus on June 14 1962. The Ohio Hospital Association and Columbus Hospital Federation sponsored the session. Thirty five central Ohio counties are in a three year Public Health Service study to improve efficiency and guide future construction. The planning group would offer nonbinding recommendations to hospitals to improve use of facilities in cooperation with hospital boards. Former Richwood Resident Died Enroute to Hospital
Lewis G. Lowry aged 52 died Saturday morning from a heart attack while en route to Grant Hospital. He formerly managed the Kroger store in Richwood and was a past commander of the Richwood VFW Post plus a member of the Richwood Masonic Lodge and the Lions Club. Survived by his wife Venice Richards and mother Tillie, plus three brothers and three sisters. Funeral services were held Monday with burial in Oakdale Cemetery.
