The Harvesters Quartet of Asbury College will present a weekend program of songs and spoken word at Essex Methodist Church July 3 4 and 5. Justice S. Matteson 84 of North Franklin Street died Sunday night at the Hook Rest Home Magnetic Springs after three weeks of care. A retired farmer and stock buyer, he served as Richwood Banking Co. director for forty years and chaired for several years. He was a First Baptist Church member born May 1 1875 in La Rue Ohio. Survived by his wife Elizabeth Evilsizer. son Lloyd. daughters Norma Snowden Elizabeth Sandy Christine Dilger. 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. two brothers and a sister. Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 PM Bal linger Funeral Home with burial in Price cemetery.

Mrs Martha Rosina Tanner 87 of 201 Barnhart St Marion died at 10 30 a m June 20 after a seven year illness. Funeral services were 1 30 p m Tuesday at Winter Funeral Home Richwood conducted by Rev Wm Ramey. Burial in Claiborne cemetery. Survived by son Pearl Francis Tanner and daughter Miss Lottie Benner 750 Merkle Ave Marion 11 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. Her husband Charles Lincoln Tanner died December 15 1934. Born June 30 1872 in Watkins Ohio to Frank McIntire and Jane Kersey McIntire. She was a Church of God member.
