Doctor Langhough Injured in Franklin Street Collision
Dr. Martin Langhough, local chiropractor, was injured Monday evening when his car collided with a truck driven by Harry Milligan at Franklin and Fairground Streets. Langhough suffered three broken ribs and was taken to Marion City Hospital for X rays before being returned home. Milligan was unconscious briefly and sustained minor injuries. both vehicles were badly damaged.

Retired Farmer Samuel Bumgarner Dies After Illness
Samuel J. Bumgarner 79 a longtime resident of Richwood West Virginia died Monday at his North Franklin Street home after a seven month illness. He was born February 12 1852 in Mason County and married Margaret A. McMillen in 1876. He was a member of Richwood M E Church. Surviving are his widow and six children two brothers a sister and several relatives. Funeral services were held Wednesday at the M E Church with interment in Price Cemetery, Essex.

Ladies Visit Husbands On Indiana Gas Pipeline
Mrs J S Kagay of Marysville and Mrs C C Mann of Richwood left Saturday for a ten day visit with their husbands working on a large gas pipeline in Indiana. Mrs Mann will visit her sister Mrs E I Smith and family in Indianapolis before returning home. The gas line work is progressing rapidly and the camp sits about 20 miles from Anderson Indiana.

Train Kills Prospect Farmer in Crossing Accident
Norman Johnson 45 of Prospect was struck and killed by a southbound C. and O. freight train at Water Street crossing. Witnesses say his team fled at a noise near the tracks and Johnson was fatally injured. He resided near Prospect, sold sweet corn in Richwood summers, and is survived by his parents and a brother. Burial tomorrow at 2:30 at Prospect Cemetery with Rev. C. W. Sultzbach officiating.

Miss Josephine Forry a Marion public schools teacher was seriously injured Friday afternoon when her sedan carrying her mother Mrs Harry Forry three sisters and a brother overturned after a left front tire blew out on the way from West Mansfield to Marion. River Stages bus line expansion approved to July start
The Ohio Supreme Court favored The River Stages Inc to extend a bus line from Rathbone via Magnetic Springs Richwood LaRue Marseilles and Upper Sandusky.
