Funeral for Frank Davis Follows March Tank Accident
Remains of Frank Davis, 33, arrived in Richwood from Marietta and were taken to Undertaker Winters. Funeral services were held at M. P. Church in Essex with Rev. E. C. Woodworth. Interment at Price's cemetery. Davis fell from a tank while working for Standard Oil near Arbela, injuring his head and spine. he died after months of illness. His father Absalom Davis of Kenton accompanied the body. His mother died when he was four months old. he leaves a large family.

Eleven survivors registered as Veterans of Company F of the old 31st Ohio held their 22nd reunion at the fair grounds last Thursday. The meeting established the wives and descendants as members of the association to keep reunions yearly. Officers elected for the year: President John Hartshorn, Raymond. vice president J. C. Hartshorn, Marysville. secretary and treasurer H. S. Colver, Richwood. Numerous out-of-town members attended and a dinner for over fifty people followed a brief program of speeches and songs.

Lee Chapman aged about fifteen son of T A Chapman Beem's addition was pinned beneath a wrecked grand stand at Pastime park during last Friday's storm. His right ear was partially severed and he suffered severe cuts and bruises. Doctors say his condition is serious but not alarming as he received care at once from his companions and then at Drs T F and F M Wurtsbaugh.
