Marysville and Union County teens will compete in the Road-e-o to prove driving knowledge and skill. The event on June 21 at O M Scotts parking lot is co sponsored by Town and Country Inc. and the local Mercury dealer. Winners receive engraved trophies and bronze keys for top placers. contestants must be under 19 by August 1 and hold a license or learner permit.

Funeral services were held Sunday in Lakeview for Ted May 51 of Huntsville Ohio. A former Union County resident he had lived in Magnetic Springs area. Death occurred from injuries June 6 when run over by a tractor. he died June 12.

Ditching the Ditch to Avert Fog Crash on Route 31
Judith Lynn Reese of Route 3 was treated at Memorial Hospital for minor injuries after a 7:55 am one car crash on State Route 31 ten miles north of Marysville. A deputy reports Reese, 20, attempted to pass and swerved into a ditch to avoid an oncoming vehicle in dense fog. No citations were issued.
