Embalming students Marion Winter and Ed Atherton completed course in Columbus with Atherton first Winter second. Both men took state undertaker exam in Toledo. A daughter born June 13 to Mr and Mrs Hugh Osborne. Ruth named. Ruth Hall reports a fine girl born to Mr and Mrs Ray Fryman south of Richwood. Emery White reports a 150 berry strawberry plant on Blaine avenue. May 26 daughter born to Mr and Mrs Howard Ellinwood of Noxton Montana, formerly near Claiborne.

Fires Destroy Buckland Creamery and Lancaster Factory
Fifty years ago on June 23 1892 both the Buckland creamery and the Lancaster butter and cheese factory were destroyed by fire. The nearby race track is being prepared for upcoming horse training with neck and neck contests possible at short notice. A Richwood M P church C E Society picnic on the Scioto river led to a near drowning when a Henry Stiles son attempted to cross the stream, his brother helped rescue him with others. Extreme heat prompted horses to suffer on city streets, prompting calls for caution among horse lovers.

A 100000 gallon elevated water storage tank in Richwood was repainted inside and out with water resistant paint. M Brown of Texarkana Arkansas performed the work for 360 dollars as part of a contract covering 16 tanks under the Reconstruction Finance Corporation. R A Bethune of Little Rock Arkansas the RFC engineer inspected the job in Itickwood Monday.
