Joseph Dilsaver a 55 year old farm hand was killed when an automobile driven by H E Thorpe passed another car and collided head on with his bicycle two miles west of Marion on Green Camp road. Dilsaver a lifelong resident of the area was unwed and funeral services were held at Shoup church with burial at Shoup cemetery.

Automobile Strikes Bridge Near Maumee Injuring Three
Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Stein and Carey Smith of Maumee were injured Sunday when a Chrysler sedan crashed into the Fulton Creek bridge west of town. Smith suffered two broken ribs while the Steins sustained facial and head cuts and bruises after the driver swerved to avoid two birds feeding on a rabbit carcass.
