Ohio inland bass fishing season opens with two new lakes
The inland bass fishing season begins officially at midnight after a holidaylike opening day. More than 600, 000 Ohioans hold licenses and may flock to two new lakes as Conservation Commissioner Don waters notes. Anglers 18 and older must carry a 50 cent license with a 10 cent issuing fee. Minimum bass length is 10 inches and the daily bag limit is six. The black bass ban in the Lake Erie district remains through July 1.
