The residence of Warren Teets in Claiborne near G. W. Moore burned completely about 1 o clock Tuesday night. Neighbors saved the Moore home as it caught fire on the roof several times. All contents of Teets house were destroyed. Origin unknown but thought to be a coal oil stove explosion.

Hanby Memorial Dedication Sunday June 13 in Westerville
The Hanby State Memorial dedication will be held in Westerville on Sunday June 13 at 2 30 PM under the Ohio State Archaeological and Historical Society of Columbus and the Hanby Memorial Association of Westerville. Descendants of the Hanby family from Ohio and other states plan a reunion and will attend. The memorial is among about forty Ohio historical sites administered by the Department of State Memorials in the program To Conserve Ohio's Historical Heritage.

Up and Coming Livestock Club Meets At Ross Home

Youths Fined On Larceny Charges
Robert Love of Essex Charles Tanner and Dave Chandler of Richwood were arrested for petty larceny confessing to stealing chickens from Chandler's farm southeast of Richwood and a farm engine and belt from William Elliott south of Richwood. The engine turned up in a Marion second hand shop. They pleaded guilty before Justice John Hartshorn and received a $100 fine plus costs they could not pay and are jailed in Union County.

Drumms Celebrate 69 Years as Clevengers Host

Heart Trouble Claims Local Farmer
William M. Mulvaine a 75 year old farmer of three miles west of Richwood died Wednesday night June 2 at 9 o'clock from heart trouble. He was born August 3 1861 in Leesburg township married to Charlotte Norris in 1881. Survived by two sons and a granddaughter with several half siblings. Funeral Friday at 3 pm at the home conducted by Rev Lafferty. Interment Maskill cemetery under Lloyd Winter and Son.

Pneumonia Fatal for Fay White in Franklin Street
Fay White aged 67 of south Franklin street died Friday morning about seven from heart trouble after a short pneumonia illness. He had flu last winter and declining health since. He worked for Marion Sand & Gravel Co. lost sight of one eye in an accident. Born April 19 1870 at Pharisburg he married Lottie Langstraff May 16 1916. Survived by widow and brother Roy S. White of Coral Gables Florida. Funeral Monday at Lloyd Winter & Son chapel with Rev. McKinnon and Rev. Cramer. interment Claiborne cemetery.
