Christmas Eve Richwood cruiser damaged in minor city crash
Richwood police logged several minor accidents over the holiday weekend including damage to the police cruiser when William W. Peck of 283 W. Bomford St. Richwood struck the right rear. The incident occurred around 11 15 p m Monday December 25 in an alley near Arco Station on N Fulton St No citation issued. Verna D Reed of 60 George St was cited for reckless operation in a separate five o clock Friday December 22 crash on E Ottawa St, causing damage to a sign and impacting a porch and railing at the Lawrence Dodrill residence. Dennis E Kinikin struck a parked car at the Carl S Bugg Sohio station. Denise Farrington collided with Robert C Jeffcoat on E Ottawa St. Farrington cited for failure to yield the right of way.

Randy A. Rausch age 19 of 8657 Axe Handle Road Milford Center was cited for failure to maintain clear distance in a crash on St Rt 37 south of Richwood at about 7 p.m. Saturday. He struck a car that was turning into a residential driveway. Renee Hamblin and three passengers were taken to Memorial Hospital with treatment advised. two others were not immediately reported. Both cars suffered severe damage.
