The U S Department of Agriculture confirms incentive prices for 1973 at 72 cents per pound for shorn wool and 80.2 cents per pound for mohair, continuing 1972 levels under the National Wool Act amended by the 1970 Agricultural Act. Jane Case Hospital Renamed as Grady Memorial Hospital

The official name change from Jane M. Case Hospital to Grady Memorial Hospital was approved by the board amid court proceedings over Mary Grady's estate valued at about 3.5 million dollars. Grady, who died in 1965 at age 96, left most of her estate to three groups for building a 50 bed hospital on the Grady farm. Hospital officials plan a 3.9 million dollar expansion.

Two Men Killed In Auto Crash On Rt 739 In Fog

Two men died in a two vehicle crash on Ohio Route 739 about a mile west of Essex and six miles northwest of Richwood in heavy fog. E. Middaugh born 1948 and Raymond Middaugh were pronounced dead at the scene after their car struck a one ton truck driven by Kenneth Kater. Kater, 61, suffered only bruises and cuts. Middaugh’s family and funeral details are listed. Botkins family also referenced with services at Ballinger Funeral Home.

Zuspan Named Vice President at Drexel College

G William Zuspan, dean of freshmen and associate professor of metallurgical center at Drexel University, named assistant vice president for student affairs. He directed faculty and student orientation programs, served as assistant dean of engineering, and led civic efforts. He earned degrees from Ohio State and joined Drexel in 1954, living in Broomall with his wife Marilyn and their five children.
