Legion To Usher Arrival of 1974 New Years Party

Area residents are invited to observe the energy crisis and celebrate 1974 with the annual New Years Eve party at the American Legion Hall on Monday, Dec. 31, starting at 9 p.m. The Legion Post will host dancing, snacks, and a buffet with optional guest contributions. Bloodmobile meets Union County quota despite low turnout

The December 10 Red Cross Bloodmobile visit collected 48 pints, enough to meet Union County’s quota. Higher returns in Marysville reduced the remaining need for Richwood. Donors from Magnetic Springs responded strongly due to a hospitalized donor in Magnetic Springs and telephone outreach by Mrs. Sally Parrott.
