On December 16 around 12 35 p m a gasoline truck driven by LeRoy Foos Route 1 struck a parked Swartz Motor Sales truck on S Franklin St causing considerable damage. On December 19 at E Ottawa and School Streets Martha Winkle driving a car hit Keith Allen Daniels car Route 2 causing substantial damage to Daniels vehicle.
Mrs. P. M. Curl of N. Clinton Street and Jim Curl depart Saturday for Fort Lauderdale Florida to spend the holidays with Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Winchester and family. Mrs. Curl will stay for the winter with her daughter Mrs. Winchester.

Miss Selah Clark of N Franklin Street slipped on ice near the old Post Office Friday morning and fell. She was taken to Marion General Hospital for treatment after a broken hip. Her room number is 208.
Mr and Mrs Fred and son Danny left for Alamogordo New Mexico to spend the holiday with their daughter and son-in-law and Mrs Jerry T Lane remains part of the travel note with no further details.
