Rifle shooting injures Joseph Ridgeway in Marion quarrel

Joseph Ridgeway, once a Richwood resident, was seriously wounded by a twenty two calibre rifle in Marion after a quarrel with John Nye. Nye is jailed in Marion city prison, admits firing the shot, and Ridgeway was taken to George Kirby’s home where his condition remains serious but hopeful for recovery.

Man Seriously Injured by Shaft at Richwood Gravel Plant

Charles Griffith of north Franklin street was found unconscious under a revolving shaft at Richwood Gravel Co last Thursday noon. He suffered a 2 and a half inch scalp wound burns and lacerations in the groin fractures of the right leg arm and chest burns and lacerations elsewhere. Medical aid was summoned and his condition though grave is hopeful for recovery. He has a history of prior accidents and operations.

Funeral for Joseph Russell Held Near Thompson Church

Joseph Russell died near West Mansfield and his funeral was held at the Thompson church Sunday afternoon at 1 30. Interment followed in Shoup cemetery beside his wife who died 34 years ago. Young People Are Married in Marysville

Miss Mary Shoup of Richwood married D C Jordon of Prospect Saturday morning at the Methodist Episcopal parsonage in Marysville. Mrs Jordon, daughter of Mr and Mrs Clem Choup, is a Richwood High School 1917 graduate and recently worked as a local telephone exchange operator. The couple will reside on the Jordon family farm.
