Richwood defeated Westerville 50 39 last Friday in a high pressure game. Jim Harrison scored 24 for Richwood as the Tigers led by five after each of the first two quarters and kept the lead. Deer Hunt in Ontario Nets Big Bucks for Ohio Party
J A McDaniel Chevrolet dealer and Phillip Nickel of Richwood Ohio returned November 16 from a two week hunt in Batchawana Bay and St Joseph Island Ontario. They bagged two 200 pound deer with single shots at 426 and 325 feet. They noted abundant geese ducks partridge and grouse plus a fox and tracks of wolves and bear. Guide Old Joe a 41 year old full blooded Algonquin and father of 11 lived at Batchawana Bay with about 450 Indians who rely on hunting fishing and guiding. Notices posted by Ontario Government in cottages warn against supplying Indians with intoxicants with fines of at least 300 and jail.
