Tuberculosis Clinic Set for Richwood and Marysville

A tuberculosis clinic will be held in Richwood on December 13 at the city building and December 12 at Marysville Elk's Home. Doctors T. C. Anderson and C. H. Beneon will act as examiners for suspected or exposed individuals. Patients are referred to their own physicians for treatment, and consent is required before registration.

Suits to Get Option Money Across Multiple Filings

Several lawsuits have been filed by Dr. C. Miller's guardian to recover money paid on options related to Magnetic Springs. After the deals were made Dr. Miller was adjudged insane, prompting action to reclaim the option payments.

Married in Michigan Vera St John and George Woods wed

Vera St John and George E Woods of Pontiac were married in Monroe on November 29 by Rev Crosby. Mrs Woods is the St John daughter of Pontiac and Mr Woods son of Richwood. They will live in Pontiac where he works at Oakland Motor Car Co. The couple had visited his parents here.

Fire destroys barn on Essex farm

Fire gutted a barn on a Clarence Parish farm near Essex last Wednesday. Farm implements hay and corn valued at 1000 dollars were lost. The barn loss stood at 2000 dollars and no insurance was carried.

Fay Stiggers Dies Suddenly at 46 in Ohio Visit

Fay Stiggers, age 46, died of neuralgia of the heart Tuesday while visiting his brother Jim Stiggers in Van Wert, Ohio. He leaves a wife, two brothers Jim and Clay, a sister Mrs. Harry Johnson, and was buried at York Cemetery after services at York M E Church. funeral arrangements were by Lloyd Winter.

For weeks local poultry fanciers discuss a possible show. Breeders of pure-bred fowls in the area show enough interest to suggest a successful small event. A meeting to discuss details will be held Monday evening December 11 at the Gazette office for interested participants.

Prison Break at Bellefontaine Jail Sparks Imitation

Four men escaped from Bellefontaine jail by sawing window bars and leaping 12 feet to the ground. They fled in an abandoned car found in Marion. One escapee was Charles Eddy formerly of Richwood, awaiting indictment by the Logan county grand jury.

Big Community Meeting Set for Dec 8 at High School

Death Comes to B. F. Rush at 78 in Richwood area

Benjamin Franklin Rush died at his home northwest of Richwood Saturday noon after a long illness due to cerebral hemorrhage. He was 78. Survived by widow and ten children including Mrs. Oscar Martino Cecil Rush Mrs. Asa McCreary Gorman Virgil Lawrence Aras Clifford Zelma Rush and Mrs. Guy Huffman and a twin sister Mrs. Myers of Alexandria. Woman Fined For Taking Down Quarantine Card

Mrs Gertrude Dunfee of Unionville Center pleaded guilty before Mayor Yealey to violating Ohio quarantine laws. Her household, including two other adults, had scarlet fever and was under at least thirty day quarantine. A nurse replaced the card after residents removed it and avoided checks. Dunfee was fined 50 dollars and costs.
