Teachers from North Union and Fairbanks districts joined a two hour session led by Jay Mulkey of the Character Education Institute San Antonio Texas at North Union High School. The program used group work and self tests to rate 21 categories from justice to originality and discussed prevalent traits in each group.

State Lottery Audit Head Roy Newell Named
State Auditor Joseph T. Ferguson announced Roy Newell 63 will head the new State Lottery Audit Division. The unit will work with the State Lottery Commission on accounting procedures disburse funds audit fiscal agents vendors and sales agencies and audit the commission quarterly. State Patrol To Continue Assisting Stranded Motorists
