Rev Wagner Reports on Mississippi Temple Visits

Rev Wagner and three Ohio Methodist ministers traveled to Jackson Mississippi invited by local groups. They met with Citizens Council leaders to discuss race relations while facing church access discrimination and harassment of both white and black worshippers. Richwood Band Boosters Christmas Tree Sale Opens Saturday

The Richwood Band Boosters announce a Christmas Tree Sale at the Richwood City Building starting Saturday December 7. Trees Canadian Balsam and Scotch Pine will be sold with proceeds aiding the band equipment and instruments. Booster members will sell tickets worth one dollar toward any tree and a December meeting is set for December 10 at 8 p.m. in the high school band room.

Farmers Receive $90,000 Refunds From Federal Land Bank

Gad refunds totaling 90000 were distributed December 1 to farmers with Federal Land Bank loans in Hardin Logan and Union counties. The payment benefits those with credit life insurance tied to their loans and stems from favorable mortality experience for August 1 1962 through July 31 1963.

Tetanus Make-up Clinic Sunday December 8

A make-up tetanus clinic is set for Sunday December 8 from 12 noon to 2:00 p.m. at the Richwood Civic Center. It offers the final low cost shot opportunity this year for those who missed the first two injections due to the November 24 events.

Civic Center Announces Holiday Programs and Clinics

The Golden Age Club at the Civic Center lists events including a stereophonic sound show on December 12 at 2 30 p m with recordings such as the Duke of Windsor speech and Hindenberg disaster. A bazaar and bake sale are planned for December 14, plus a Shinkle family sacred music program that evening with transportation arranged for seniors. Estate Sieg Nominates Widow as Executrix in Probate

The estate of Thaddeus P. Sieg of Richwood died November 3 and goes to Probate Court. Helen L. Sieg is named executrix without bond, with the estate valued at about 50 000 dollars in personal property and 50 000 in real estate. Appraisers named are Vern Zuspan Claud Swartz and Kenneth Davis.

Grange votes funds for charity and hall use

Members approve a five dollar donation to the Tuberculosis Society for Christmas Seals and allocate three dollars for Grange officers installation expenses plus ten dollars for using the Magnetic Springs schoolhouse. Corn Awards At Claiborne Grange Festival
