Albert Patrick killed at Marion in freight engine accident
Albert B. Patrick aged 63 was instanty killed at Marion Saturday night when struck by a Big Four freight engine. Eyewitnesses say he froze at shouted warnings and stepped into the engine’s path. He was born February 11 1857 in Bowling Green township and married April 18 1883 to Francena Fogle. He leaves widow and six children Ernest Elmer E Patrick of Indianapolis Mrs Elvin Pace and Mrs Ethel Johnson of Marion nine grandchildren, sisters Martha Wilson and Wilmot Clark of LaRue and a twin brother.

At a called village council meeting on Tuesday December 23 the new rate ordinance for Richwood Light Heat and Power Co passed increasing rates for eight months.
