Bright's Disease Claims Lady Hendrix in Summersville
A four week illness of Bright's disease ended the life of Mrs. Julia A Hendrix 81 on Thanksgiving Day November 24 at her Summersville home. Born July 20 1857 in Franklin county she was daughter of Henry and Mary Roby. Survived by three children and eleven grandchildren, funeral in Summersville Friends church officiated by Rev Green with interment at York Cemetery.

Mr and Mrs William Stahl of rear Byhalia were injured in a late week auto collision on State Route 31 near Mt Victory. Mr Stahl suffered a skull fracture and was hospitalized at Antonio Hospital in Kenton with his wife, who sustained lesser injuries.

Ralph Doebert a 55 year old laborer of Clairborne died Monday at 9 30 am in St Francis hospital Columbus following a brief illness. He was born November 9 1883 and is survived by four children and three sisters. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 1 30 in the Claiborne M P church with interment at Maskill cemetery conducted by Lloyd Winter and Son.

Surprise Pastors Honored By Church Family In Maine
Members of the M. P. church surprised Rev and Mrs B F McKinnon Monday evening at the parsonage. A program of duets recitations and readings plus games followed. Miss Chiesa played an accordion solo and a piano piece. Short talks were given and Rev Hughes spoke of renewed friendship. Benediction ended the gathering with a feast including a preacher’s delight chicken.
