Gomer Prichard 59 a prominent farmer of Richwood area died Friday noon after a heart attack He was born October 8 1873 in Ohio and was a devout First Baptist member He survived by wife Delphia Wiley two children Penrose and Mrs Charles Roberts and two sisters Funeral services were Sunday November 27 at 2 30 PM at the Baptist church with Rev B E Dunn and interment at Price Cemetery near Richwood.

The Lyceum Course will present The Larcher Duo on December 14 at the opera house. The Heart of Ohio football league held its banquet at Hotel Villa with officers named and Forest High School praised for an undefeated season. Boy Scout Training Saves Boys Life After Arm Amputation
Charles Curry, 14, East of Richwood, had his right arm torn by a shotgun discharge while hunting with Donald Hall, 12. Hall applied a tourniquet and pad, saving Curry from likely fatal bleeding before transfer to his parents’ home. Curry’s arm was amputated below the elbow. his condition remains favorable.

The Daughters of Veterans annual inspection was held at the G A R hall on Friday night. Mrs Gail Montgomery praised the work after inspecting the Tent. Sixteen from Marion and fourteen from North Lewisburg attended with talks by Margaret Haberman Willis and Cora Jenkins. A six o’clock dinner fed about 30. Donations were voted to Homes at Sardusky and Xenia. Plans were made to attend North Lewisburg inspection. The last Sewing Circle met at Mrs Manley and Miss Ethel Stallsmiths home with a noon dinner and sewing for the Red Cross.
