Area Residents Die In Two Car Crash Near Washington Court House
Three members of the Stanley family died in a Sunday two car crash three miles north of Washington Court House. Mrs Sylvia Stanley 47 her son Joseph 13 and grandson Martin Joe Phillips 9 months were killed. A fourth victim Mrs Shirley Elliott 28 also died and ten were injured. The accident occurred when Mr Stanley ran a stop sign at the Washington Waterloo and Old Springfield Roads intersection.
