Richwood High Opens Football Practice for Season
Richwood High School began football practice on August 16 with two daily sessions from 8 to 10 am and 6 to 8 pm. Forty seven players have declared for the team, 15 returning lettermen, and a 1963 schedule includes Marysville Elgin Highland Buckeye Valley Cardington Olentangy Mt. Funeral Rites Sunday for Myrtle Luellen
Myrtle B. Luellen 85 of Richwood Route 3 died Thursday at Marion General Hospital after ten days illness. Born August 23 1877 in Prospect Township she was daughter of William and Malinda Powell. Burk Family Ends Two Week Michigan Vacation
The Rev. and Mrs. Rodney Burk and daughter Marilyn returned August 14 from a two week trip through Michigan. They visited Prattsville Allegan Muskegon Ludington Interlochen Traverse City Glen Lake Benzie Yankee Springs and the National Music Camp at Interlochen. They camped in a 16 foot trailer and found state parks at capacity with 30 to 40 cars waiting each morning. On the return they called on their daughter’s family in Forest Ohio.
