At a regular meeting the Richwood council unanimously ordered an electrical improvement to have street lights by September first. Mayor Jones will oversee street work as the county seeks a competent inspector. The village granted the American Legion permission to use streets for Labor Day celebration. proceeds go to the post treasury. Five cars of stone were bought for local streets though a local quarry can’t supply much, and ordinances on street cleaning and sprinkling were passed.
