A Sad Affair Involving Hancock McAllister Tragedy Near Richwood
George W. Hancock of Licking County faced a fatal quarrel with his father in law Jesse McAllister after returning home to his Richwood residence. The altercation escalated with a knife threat and thrown objects before McAllister died of heart failure. A post mortem was conducted by Drs Swisher and White, with inquest arranged by Judge Jolliff.
