Automobile Stolen Suspect Jailed in Court
Croggin Bailey’s garage on Herbert street was broken into and a Dodge sedan owned by Samuel McElroy was stolen. The car was found ditched on a by-road near Tawnpike by the Tawa school house, with tools and rope missing. Harry Tanner was arrested after a rope matching the tow line was found at his home and bound over to the common pleas court in $2,000. he could not post bond and is jailed. McElroy lies ill after a paralysis stroke Saturday night.

The Home Missionary society met at Mrs. C. E. Holycross for an Indian themed program led by Mrs. G. M. Howard, followed by social time and refreshments. The Philathea Baptist class hosted forty plus for a parish social and lunch. The M. E. Kitchen Cabinet Orchestra performed in York raising funds for the Aid society.
