Williams Presides At SAM Meeting
The Business School Chapter of the Society for the Advancement of Management held its organizational meeting in Room 102 of the Business School on Tuesday September 20 with about 35 attendees. Wood Dormitory Breaks Ground At Richmond College
Ground will be broken in October for the $300000 Wood Memorial Dormitory at Richmond College. The red brick limestone building will house 75 students with a dorm director and lounge, financed in part by First Baptist Church Endowment Fund and named for Bettie Davis Wood. It joins Thomas Hall and will form a campus court behind Thomas Hall, part of three new constructions in three years.

Stone appoints four assistants to expand Student Center hours
Robert Stone, administrator of the Student Center, announces four assistants Norman Bennett, David A. Jackson Jr., Richard Raines, and James Baker to support after hours operations. Two events are planned this week in the Student Center Lounge including a Business School reception at 8 p.m. and football films about the West Virginia game on Tuesday at 7 30 p.m. A Second Ministerial Association meeting is scheduled at 11 30 a.m. Also a World Series TV set is available in the Lounge for afternoon games until the series ends. A university calendar of events is free in the Dry Dock.
