New Building Nears Opening For Women’s Athletics
Work on the new Women's Building began last November and is near completion with the gymnasium and locker rooms ready within a week. The formal opening is planned for December. The east wing houses a large gymnasium with space for spectators, basketball, badminton, deck tennis, and apparatus work. The athletic director Miss Fanny G Crenshaw’s offices are on the first floor opposite the gym.
