Helen A. Mansell longtime Richmond College registrar for 39 years died after a career that included authoring 25 children's books and teaching at Virginia Commonwealth University. Funeral service at Bennett’s Funeral Home scheduled with interment at Hollywood Cemetery.
All student parking stickers must be renewed for the 1971 72 session. Stickers issued during the 1970 71 session are void.

Judge M. Ray Doubles, former dean of the University of Richmond Law School from 1950 to 1947, takes a temporary acting dean role at T. G. Williams School of Law in Muse’s absence. A Davidson College and University of Chicago JD graduate, he later served as Virginia assistant attorney general and coauthored a 732 page Virginia Jury Instructions.
