Westhampton Orientation Week for Freshmen and Transfers
Westhampton begins a full week of orientation activities for about 187 new students and transfers. Activities include convocation, placement tests, campus tours, Big Little Sister party, Government meeting, athletic picnic, Mortar Board assembly, President's Reception, pep rally for Richmond Randolph Macon game, square dance, and final day schedule continuing Sunday.

Professor Praises Campus Religious Groups at RAC Retreat
Professor Martin L. Shotzburger praised campus religious organizations for good conduct at the first annual RAC retreat held at Camp Woodcliff. Westhampton College hosts an eight to eleven PM square dance on the tennis courts, rain move to the gym. Sponsored by the YMCA Richmond College and Westhampton College YWCA, the informal event welcomes all, with refreshments for a small charge and music by recording artist Irving Gurganus.
