Series Religious Services Planned

Dr. R Aubrey Williams pastor of the Tabernacle Baptist Church will conduct a series of religious services at West hampton and Richmond Colleges during the first week in November announced in Chapel assembly by Dr Ir W Boatwright. Services will be held at various times each day to not interfere with class progress. The object is to promote a more Christian atmosphere.

The University library in Ryland Hall's southern wing houses about 80 000 volumes cataloged by the Dewey system. It serves as a government depository with hundreds of public and periodical references, open to students eight hours daily and two at night.

Orientals Observe Republic s Birth at University

Four Chinese students at the university mark the tenth anniversary of China's republic by displaying the national flag from Jeter Hall. The observance on November 10 included Y. C. Cheung Ky Wong K. H. Cheung and My Hui leading the celebration though their small group limited larger participation.
