Bass Construction Seeks Cut on Fine Arts Bid at University
University negotiates with Bass Construction of Richmond over a 1.25 million dollar target for the Fine Arts Building. President Modlin says a bid of 1.47 million was accepted but seeks reduction. construction may start next month with no 1967 completion date. Building will house music, speech, drama and art on Westhampton College green. Keller Hall will revert to its original role.

Senate Halts Tuesday Vote on Judiciary Council
The RC senate postponed the vote on the proposed Judiciary Council for men students until next year after a Monday night meeting. RC Student Government president Billy McCann followed the President's Advisory Council recommendation for further constitutional revision. Melann was informed that delaying the vote favored avoiding a definite defeat. Charles was appointed to continue work on the matter.
